The Everstead standard

Four questions every find has to answer

We'd rather list fewer products than fill the shelves with ones that won't make it past the first year.

  1. What is it made of?

Materials, construction and what's actually in the box. Vague listings and missing specs are a warning sign.

  2. How does it age?

We read reviews from people who've owned it for months, not days, and look for patterns in what wears out.

  3. Can it be cared for?

Easy cleaning, replaceable parts and a real warranty all stretch the life of a product.

  4. Is the price fair?

We compare close alternatives. Paying more is fine when it buys durability, not just a logo.
